Signal termination brackets and boxes provide a cost effective method of obtaining data from permanently mounted accelerometers located in awkward or

hazardous areas; front-of-panel, prewired BNC(s) allow convenient signal connection for portable vibration analyzers etc; signal switch boxes eliminate the

need for repositioning the vibration meter for each input while taking readings;  cable reduction boxes reduces cable installation cost/time by allowing the

customer to marshal multiple sensor cables into one or more multi-pair shielded cables.

Advanced Wireless Switchbox

Advances in wireless technology are changing how information can be gathered from vibration sensors without abandoning a customer's investment in his traditional walk-around vibration data collection system. We are pleased to release our Wai Port wireless switchbox system.

Wai Port Overview

 

Spectrum's Wai Port wireless switchbox system is an industry proven system designed specifically for the condition and predictive mantenance market.  Wai Port works with traditional IEPE style single element and dual function accelerometers and associated cables.  Accelerometers that are mounted in inaccessible or hazardous locations can be wired directly to the Wai-T Port Transmitter which converts the sensors time waveform signal to wireless data which is transmitted up to 300 feet line of sight to the Wai-R Receiver.  The Wai-R Receiver converts the signal back to a time waveform which is readily vailable at the common switchable BNC on the face of the Wai-R Receiver.   

The client uses his existing data collector to capture and store the waveform as if he had connected directly to the sensor.

 

 

 

Why use Wai Port over traditional cabled systems?
